Diving in Lembeh

The only way you haven’t heard of Lembeh is if you’ve been living under a rock – like many of the critters we found in Lembeh. Hailed as a mecca for divers seeking to uncover strange creatures, we decided to head over there and see what all the fuss was about. I think this is a case where the pictures do speak for themselves.

We saw many scorpionfish, many octopi (including the mimic octopus), the flamboyant cuttlefish, many nice nudibranches, frogfish (finally got to see the hairy frogfish!) and other things I don’t even remember the name for.

This place definitely lives up to its’ name as critter central!

When to dive Year Round

Suited for All level of divers with a good control over their buoyancy. Sometimes, we got bad visibility because divers were kicking up the grit.

Keep an eye out for Macro stuff
